Our stunning real bride Meghan, came to us in the summer of 2022 looking for βthe oneβ.
She had one appointment with us and at first, was more attracted to whimsical, detailed gowns. Meghan did a full 360 when she tried on the Parker by Made With Love. As her stylist, I wanted her to feel something special in a gown and I could tell that what we were trying just wasnβt doing it for her. She absolutely shined on her wedding day in this stunning, classy and elegant gown.

Greg and I met in our hometown of Burlington in my grade 11th and his grade 12th year of high school! We are officially high school sweethearts that managed to stick together all through university where we both went to Wilfrid Laurier and then decided to make the move from Ontario to Vancouver.

We started dating around Christmas time so we have always tried to plan special date nights in December. For the last couple years we have been spending our anniversary at the Fairmont in Whistler, so the night before we were off to spend our 11th anniversary in whistler Greg proposed to me at home in Squamish!

With family and friends having to travel from Ontario to Squamish, we really wanted to be able to spend extended time with everyone. The vibe that we were going for was an intimate, relaxing spring weekend in the forest with our closest people. We had cabins on property for all our family and our friends stayed in the Wild Haven Glamping tents.

Sunwolf Resort was our location. Sunwolf was a little Squamish oasis 10 minutes away from our house that had all the accommodation we needed, we had a huge outdoor space to hangout and one of the best restaurants in town, Fergieβs is the caterer.

When I first came into Everly the main thought I had about the dress was that I wanted it to fit within a rugged outdoor venue. I initially had seen a Made with Love dress on the website that I absolutely loved because it felt Earthy with all these petals sewn on. It wasnβt until Tessa actually pulled the Parker dress for me and told me to think about if I am envisioning specific moments of the wedding in the dress, that I realized Parker was βthe oneβ. Once we added the Harlow veil to add some texture and detail with the petal, I could hear the song βThis Will Beβ playing in my head! It sounds so cheesy, but I never expected to have that moment as someone who rarely gets dressed up and I never expected to love a sleek mermaid style dress! All thanks to Tessa though who helped me find my perfect dress. We also had talked about cutting the train on the veil and making sleeves to switch into once the veil came off and they turned out to be such a fun statement piece that gave me an old Hollywood feel - it turned out amazing!

Getting to marry the love of my life in the sun in Squamish was such a surreal memory and sharing a special moment together after the ceremony without everyoneβs eyes on you was pretty blissful! But also switching into converse for the ultimate dance party with all our favorite people was truly the best!

A friend told me to think about just being present in the moment whenever I started to get really nervous. Especially when a wedding can feel like a performance for someone who is more on the introverted side. Thinking about presence in every moment leading up to the day and during the wedding really helped to calm me down and keep me grounded!
